Dec 31st 2007 Florida Auto Insurance — An Easy Way To Considerable Savings

Some states pay more for auto insurance than others. Florida is one such states. However, in spite of this you can reduce your Florida auto insurance rates by following the advice in this article.

However, before we go any further into this you need to understand what is considered the minimum auto insurance coverage if you reside in Florida. This also applies to you if you have a car that stays a total of 90 days or more in Florida.

The state requires that you have coverage that takes care of you and your vehicle despite who’s at fault. It’s called the No Fault Law. Another requirement is that you get coverage that takes care of damages caused by you. This is the Financial Responsibility Law.

The minimum limit for the No Fault Law is $10,000. This takes care of personal injury and property damage. The Financial Responsibility Law demands that you have this as minimum coverage for others when you’re at fault: $20,000 if an accident involves more than a person, $10,000 if it’s just one person and $10,000 coverage for damage to property.

Now to the issue we are most interested in: How to make huge savings.

All you need is to do comparison shopping using insurance quotes sites. You can get up to five quotes from an insurance quotes site (especially those run by independent insurance brokers like the ones I recommend). What do you have to do to get this? Just answer a simple questionnaire that often takes less than 5 minutes.

If you want to ensure you do not miss any great offers, then make sure you visit at least three insurance quotes sites for your quotes. The more quotes sites you visit, the greater your chances of making the highest savings possible in Florida car insurance.

When you get the quotes returned, decide on what represents the best price value to you. There may be slight difference in the details of coverage provided by each insurer. Thereafter, make sure you check the claims history and rating of the insurer in question. The state’s Department of Insurance can show you that. The reason you’re advised to do this is so that you do not buy insurance from a company that has a poor history of claims settlement.

Take these to heart and do them and you’ll get low cost Florida car insurance without compromising yourself. I think it would be great if you get your auto insurance quotes now. It takes only a few minutes per site.

I recommend these sites for the best Florida auto insurance quotes…

Dec 31st 2007 How to Save Money and Get Discount Health Insurance in Arizona

The best way to get discount health insurance in Arizona is to live a healthy lifestyle. When you shop for insurance, you will have to fill out a company questionnaire, which will ask a lot of questions that will enable the underwriters to determine how much of a health risk you are and how much to charge you for that risk.

Here are a few things they will look at:

1. Health History: Do you have a history of good health or have you been in and out of the hospital for one thing or another. If you’ve had a stroke within the past 10 years, more than likely it will be difficult to obtain coverage or you may be penalized with a much higher rate

2. Weight: If you are overweight or have a BMI (Body Mass Index) above 39 you will have a difficult time getting insurance. If you do find a company willing to insure you, they will penalize you with a higher rate. To get the best rate, keep your weight in check. Things like exercise and proper eating will work to your benefit when it comes to rating your health insurance policy.

3. Do you smoke?: Smoking is not looked upon very favorably and you’ll incur a higher rate for this habit.

4. Age: Statistically, older people have a higher incidence of filing health claims than younger people. The younger you are when looking for health insurance, the better your premium rate.

5. Occupation: What do you do for a living? Desk jobs are much less hazardous than outdoor manual labor jobs. The more hazardous the job, the higher the rate.

If you’re not in perfect health, or you have a pre-existing condition that an insurance company will not want to insure, don’t despair. Ask the company if they have an exclusion rider that will exclude the pre existing condition. Sometimes you have to get creative to get the best rate.
